Shuttle to the start, then ride the historic Bosluyskloof Pass (60 bends in 7.6 km). Continue through the UNESCO-listed Seweweekspoort with river crossings and striking geology, passing quiet mission towns and the fertile Hoeko Valley to Ladismith.
Finish the day with a relaxed meal at a local family restaurant, settling into the rhythm of Karoo hospitality.

Roll out from Karoocible toward Van Wyksdorp, then climb the legendary Rooiberg Pass (69 bends) with sweeping views across fynbos valleys where three biomes meet. Descend toward Calitzdorp before returning to Ladismith.
End the day with a local wine tasting experience, reflecting the character and produce of the region.

Step off the gravel and into the story of Ladismith with a relaxed ride through one of the Karoo’s most architecturally distinctive towns.
Known for its unique “Ladismith style”, a simplified Georgian design dating back to the 1830s, the town offers a cohesive and character-rich streetscape unique to the Klein Karoo.
Cycle through quiet streets past a blend of architectural influences, from Georgian and Victorian to Neo-Gothic and Cape Dutch Revival. Landmarks such as the historic City Hall, Albert Manor, and other heritage buildings reveal layers of the town’s history.
Pause along the way at local monuments and cultural sites, where the heritage of Ladismith continues to shape everyday life.
