The 2025 tours are recce (scouting) tours and are priced accordingly - raw, real, and unforgettable. Expect the unexpected: a few hiccups, a wild challenge or two, and maybe a moment where we ask for a little flexibility - or even a helping hand. It’s all part of the adventure!

What’s included
Accommodation: Stay at Karoocible. If we’re fully booked, additional riders are comfortably accommodated in nearby guesthouses.
All meals & drinks: Breakfast, on-route refreshments, and hearty dinners - everything’s covered.
Fully supported rides: A support vehicle follows the group and can pick you up whenever needed.
On-route bike support: Basic mechanical assistance provided along the way (within reasonable limits).
Route refreshments: Snacks and drinks supplied during rides.

Getting there
Transport: Please check if your tour includes transfers from Cape Town or George. For small groups we can assist with airport transfers.
Car rental: Available from Cape Town International/ George Airport. It is advisable to book your car in advance to secure the best rates during peak season. Book with your passport, credit card and drivers licence. Both Cape Town and George are close to the highways with easy access to the cities. The start of the gravel tour is in Ladimsith - 3.5 hours' drive from Cape Town International and 2 hrs drive from George Airport.
Bicycle rental: Rent from Cycling Friends in Cape Town or Beyond Bike in Paarl.
